Product Description
Akari 25N Table Lamp is one of Akari's lighting sculptures. The round lamp with soft light is made of fine paper. Designed in 1951, the Japanese-American artist, sculptor, and designer began the collection. The name chosen for the objects, 'akari' means 'light' in Japanese, meaning both illumination and physical brightness. "Thus, through the magic of paper, the electric piercing is transformed back into the light of our origin - the sun."
